A semi-matured, cow milk cheese that is speckled with whole black peppercorns. This slightly sharp cheese with a characteristic spicy flavour is firm enough to grate.
Cacio pepper is ideal for seasoning pasta, especially with fava beans or tomato sauce for that extra peppery kick or for serving with crackers.
